I am not of Indian nor Pakistani beginnings but I am almost as excited on the Cricket(?) match tomorrow morning. They both stand 2 wins in a best of 5 match. If the Indians win, my officemate is going to take me out for lunch, FREE!!!

They hold the game in Pakistan and the players are flown in (by helicopter I think) before, and flown out after the game.

There are even theaters showing the games live

Neways, just thought I'd share it with y'all.

As a 'Caucasian American', I have to say that the fever surrounding Int'l sport competition cannot be compared to any event in here in the states.

I lived in London for a year and thoroughly enjoyed my time. Rugby (Lions tour of South Africa, Five Nations (?), National squad tours), Cricket (Ashes vs. Australia, World tours) and Football (Euro Cup, friendlies) - - - It was all incredible.

I wish some of these world-wide sports took hold in the States so Americans could see what real national pride and fanaticism looks like.
