Too bad it didn't hit the propeller. The pics would have been much more interesting to look at.

Alright, that was a little uncalled for. All joking aside, that deer likely didn't feel any pain. It's death was (obviously) quick, and likely without suffering. It seems that the plane's wing disected the deer's head from it's neck. Had it been hit directly, or body on, the blunt trauma at 200+ MPH would not have caused so much devastation and gore.

Looks very similar to the one I pulled off the freeway a couple of years ago, except mine was in more pieces and we damn near got nailed ourselves running out to get the parts.
