Default Defective TV Set??

I just bought a new 27" panasonic flat screen tv and have a problem with it. The picture doesn't form a straight line around the ends(edges) when I am playing with my PS2....some parts on the edge are kind of curvy. Now when I am watching movies or other TV programs, the ends(edges) are perfectly straight....What may be wrong??? Hopefully, I described my problem correctly...

Could it be that there is a problem with the game or my PS2 console???

The problem probably isn't with your set, but is just an artifact caused by the game.

On my Sony they said that if the speakers for my reciever are too close they'll distort the picture. I tried it and they were right. Just a thought.
