Why were the Philly fans booing the hell out of Destiny's Child before, during, and after their halftime performance? I mean, I'm not a huge fan of theirs or anything, but that was pretty harsh! Maybe the announcer said they were from LA or something?

 

I saw that... what gives.

 

It looked like all but one of them were wearing Lakers shirts while they were performing. Not something you want do unless you are in L.A.

 

One was lakers, one was philly and the other was neutral.
But the two girls behind them wore laker colors.

 

i was wondering that myself... but.. if they were wearing lakers uniforms then.... i guess they would get boo'd in the city of brotherly love!!!

One was wearing a Laker shirt, the other a Philly shirt, then the other one wore a nuetral NBA shirt. I still don't understand why the Philly crowd ripped them. Then again, we're talking about Philly here. That ain't a town for wimps!

 

I think the fans were upset about getting beat, but didn't want to boo their team because they know how hard they are all trying. So they decided to boo the intermission performance.

Also, was it me, or could you barely hear the second song. That stupid Bootylicous song. They might have booed that, or as one of the Philadelphia Inquirer writers wrote, we're just tired of all this crazy halftime crap.
