who watches Blind Date? some of those episodes are pretty entertaining too. that's it, just entertainment.

i personally didn't find Alex overly attractive, but thought he was kinda slimy cuz he did a really good job stringing the girls along, being really ambivalent, but the show was still fun to watch. give the viewers some credit - some of us DO know it's not real. since it's an abc show, of course they're gonna do the Prince Charming bit.

I thought that Alex was pretty good looking for a 31 year old. But i'm partial to tall dark haired guys to begin with anyways.

As for him being slimy, I don't think so. Keep in mind that the network only airs 1 hour out of all the time that he spends with the girls. Of course they will edit in stuff that will bring in the viewers. We can't really make much of a judgement based on that.

As for Amanda wanting kids and not being as much of a trophy wife as Trista, I think that Alex played it smart. Trista seemed to be kind of cold, while Amanda was loving and upfront. She told Alex straight up what she wanted, and he bit. So he made the choice and it's not like someone held a gun to his head.

In the long term, I think that Amanda and Alex would have lasted longer than him and Trista.

I wonder if he would've still picked Amanda if he hadn't gotten his mom's advice?

She said how she would like to be the host of "Wild on"(great show, she would look great next to brooke )

Howard just said, "Just wear that on good morning america, and you will be guaranteed the job"

[QUOTE]I thought that marrying a millionaire show was a sign of the apocolypse. This was eclipsed by The Bachelor, however, and now I'm convinced that American popular culture is a haven for unbelievable crap and is doomed to eternal idiocy.
