The Europeans recently sent a moon orbiter into space. One of the objectives is to take pictures of the moon landing sites. This should put an end to the argument.

OK, you think Nasa folks lied about landing on the moon. Which time? There was more than one trip. Please be specific

If the sheer voume of evidence from the moon isn't enough to clear this up, there is no hope.

Do you question the existence of satellite tv? Trans-Atlantic cables? Weather satellites? Doppler radar on the evening news? If all your friends jumped off a bridge, would you?

Some equally "true" facts that "prove" we went to the moon:

*978,000! professional photographers validated the legitimacy of the lunar photographs.

*Manufacturer of the suit the astronauts wore says inventor is a loon who wouldn't know jack about the manufacturing process, or the many modifications that were made to the original design of *golf pants* and *plaid shirt* to arrive at a suitable lunar attire...

*No reasonable explanation for why NASA and everyone involved would go to such lengths for so long to lie about such a thing has ever been put forth by anyone. Then again, no reasonable explanation has ever been put forth as to why people would insist man hasn't been to the moon, either.

*NASA scientists created the whole idea that they were lying, and even assembled pictures to "prove" it, as a drunken prank one long night after a moon mission celebration. The fun and mischeif hasn't stopped since.

If you post it, you said it. Did you really expect anything different?

Just trying to get a good discussion going. Please no comments like "you're a retard and etc"

Testimonies from key people proved we didnt. NASAs denial to every question asked, and claims it did....
Some things to discuss.....

*inventor of the suit the astronauts wore stated they would never tolerate the temps, they werent designed for it.

*47! professional photographers, and the maker of the camera used to take photos said the photos were fake/doctored

*Landing pod has 3000lbs of thrust, yet left no crater on a dusty/soft ground on the moon

*In the photos and videos, you see a reflection of the sun on the spaceship on the left, and yet, in the astronaut's visor, its on the right....

*When video is played 2X, it is perfectly fluid, like 1X, which professional movie editors have stated that it was just filmed at .5X, thus making it look like low gravity.....

*shadows...the standing astronaut casts a shadow to one side, but a rock in the background is casting a shadow the other way....

Lets see what you all think.....
I think what really helps drive this conspiracy theory is that since the lunar landing back in 1969, we have not really done anything too cool in space. So its easy to believe that it was too difficult to do way back then. Aviation in general has not advanced that much since the 1960's. The shuttle was cool when it first launched, but people start to take things for granted. Sometimes as an American you wonder where the innovation and drive is today for similar achievments. I guess with the massive trade imbalance we have carried for such a long time prevents a lot of this.

The people involved in the space program back then were true cowboys competing for national pride against the Soviets who were really a head of the game. NASA now is sort of a big bloated corporation. It was cool to see Rutan get into suborbital space though.

um, for those who think we do nothing "cool" in space, ever heard of an orbital space station? About as cool as it gets, in my book. Live pictures from Mars fit the bill for "cool," as well, IMHO.
