That show is like a trainwreck. You don't want to enjoy watching someone else's disaster. But it makes for very compelling television. The idiot customer says those magic words every carsalesman longs to hear: "What kind of monthy payment can you do for me?" And it's all downhill from there...

I saw the episode where the son drove up in a gold Altima with his elderly Mom in the back. The son and his buddy (brother?) are shopping for a car for a nice used car for the mother. The son volunteers that his mom has perfect credit - over 800 FICO. The mom stays in the car while these two clowns go out test driving new Dodge Durangos and full size Ram trucks. Later they are back to the used PT Cruiser they looked at on the way in for mom. The car is advertised at $12,222 on the windshield. The moron son says to the salesman, "Can you do a payment under $300?" And I'm thinking, "$300/mo?!? That should be under $250/mo even if you did like $0 down for 60mo at a realtively high 8%. It would still be under $300 even if you did a 48mo loan..." "But The salesman is like, "Gee, I dunno. That's gonna tbe tough!" Then the salesman comes back and says, "Well the best we could do is $320 a month." And they take it!!

I think the old lady would have gotten less ripped off had she just done the shopping and negotiating on her own...

Thanks, I checked out the site and watched the video. He looks like a used car salesman and the show looks sooooooo cheesy it's not worth my time to watch.

Is that the guy in Vegas? I watch his comercials when I'm in town. That is the kind of place I'd stay away from when looking for the a car..hell I haven't spoken to anyone but a fleetsales person for a long time. I guess is surprises me people actually like all that flash and talk.

The promos for this looked so odd. Had some guy with a crown on, flashing these ghastly lookin' hand rings that went across both his fists...
