IMO yes, it's wrong.
The manager should be fined a large amount of $ with the funds going toward the girl's education or whatever she deems fit.

I've seen and know what drugs can do to people. They probably stop paying for the car because the drug money was all gone and they needed some. I'm kind of surprise at this story, but at the same time know that it is not entirely impossible.

People need to know this. Don't do drugs!!! And if you and your spouse/SO are both stupid, don't have off spring. You'll just end up ruining their lives.
