digital camcorder with video in?
Does anyone know or can recommend a digital camcorder with a video in? I would like to use a www.conecam.com with one.
thanks.
thanks.
I've looked at some since I like the concam too, but it's still too expensive IMO. There are tons of there out there, although I'm a Sony bigot and I don't think you could go wrong with them. In anycase, the cheap ones start around $600 or $700 list for Digital8 and the expensive ones top out around $1500 for whatever that tiny, fancy new media is. How much money you got?
well I've got a Sony Hi8 already, but I don't think it's got a video in.. I've got to find the owners manual. I've looked at some of the Sony mini DV... couldn't figure out if it had video in. The folks a Best Buy weren't too helpful. As for spending money.. I donno, $800 or less is what I'd spend on one.

The Sony DCR-TRV240 is their cheapest camer that has video in, at $600.
There's also the DCR-VX2000 for only $3000.

I recommend the Canon MiniDV camcorder such as the ZR series. The ZR10 can be found online for as low as $460.00. A good deal.
