ill never have dish again. **** them. went back to charter cable. dish had the worst customer service ever. We went through FOUR receivers because they kept having problems. They wanted to charge us each time to come out.

charter cable for the win. 5mb internet bundle with cable and hbo, showtime, etc for like 70 a month. great service too!

Does anyone know if you can download programs from direcTV or Dish into your computer from thier HD DVRs?

After all the comments, I'm leaning towards Dish. It seems to be just a tad bit cheaper than DirecTV.

Neither...you can't have TIVO with satellite. I have COX/Charter/Suddenlink...whatever else it is with TIVO. It is great. No hacking required to download programs to my PC. As far as programming and customer service go, I don't want to talk about it.
