Well, at a motel or business, then I'd understand. But to have a video recorder on for 24/7 in a private home is somewhat unusual, unless the house is a mansion with security cams all over.

 

Update, the guys got arrested. One of their fathers made him turn himself in. They're now out on bail.

 

And four of the five dogs were recovered. One puppy is still missing.

 

If the dogs are worth a lot of money, it is no different than breaking in and stealing say..jewelry.

 

Yeah, the thread title is unbefitting of the crime. I'd reserve that for stories like the teenagers who dug up the recently deceased corpse of a local girl killed in a car wreck and then had sex with her. Or tried to. Can't remember....

 

Yeah I agree the title implies some terrible unspeakable crime. Stealing dogs and holding people at gun point is dumb and very idiotic.
But I view killing persons over shoes, religion or race or anything more terrible...

Yeah, I was trying to look for links to it but couldn't find any. From what I remember, it was three gothic guys who were virgins. Girl from their highschool or one nearby dies in car wreck. They see her pic in the obituaries in the paper, think she's attractive, find her gravesite, dig her up and then rape her.
