I think it's pretty rude when someone clearly knows you're right behind them and they go through a door that's been held open for them and let it slam in your face.
Yeah, what's up with that?! It's almost enough to make me cover my open sores in public.

I do open the door for my wife on most occasions, not all the time and she appreciates the gesture. I also tend to hold doors open for people and say thanks when they do for me. I scored brownie points when I met my wife for the first time and her aunt saw me open the door for her.

Rarely with the S as the way the car gets parked in the garage it's a lot easier to get into it once I drive the car out of it. Always open building doors for the ladies.

lol so i started opening the door for my gf and oh boy i'm so not used to it and feel kinda weird, especially when it's pretty convenient for her to open the door and I walk all the way around to open it for her. I feel like a retard rather than a gentleman hahaha. she's happy with it tho.

I try to open the door for female friend/gf/ girl I'm seeing at the moment Being a younger person (19 years old) the girls seem to think it's a little funny and too "gentleman" like. But I know they like it.

In general I hold doors for people if I'm in the situation to. I just think that there isn't enough common courtesy nowadays.
