Do you have Microsoft Office 2000 Media CD?
SUBJECT: Upgrading to Microsoft Office 2000
PROBLEM: Once if we upgrade to Win 2K we won't be able to use most of Office software because same OEM Office 97 CD
was install on all of computers (130 pcs)
STORY:
I remember one of our Sales person new Laptop came with Windows 2000. So, I installed Office 97 on it just normal OEM CD. I installed the same OEM CD on my Computer which had Windows 2000 also. The problem I had was with License issue with Microsoft Access. I could only open ACCESS on the my computer not on his laptop.
SOLUTIONS: Install Office 2000 Full Version from Office 2000 Media CD to avoid licensing conflict.
