When I see people spit (usually in a parking lot) it always looks funny / gross.... but for some reason I spit a fair amount.??? How the hell do you stop? I think some where I saw it helps keep your weight down? Wrestlers usually spit a lot.???

 

If I need to, but try to have it hit on dirt or a planted area not where someone would step on it or see it.

 

i haven't had that problem since i was in the third grade, when it was "cool" to spit. yeah, once you get into the habbit of spitting it's very hard to stop, much like any and all habbits. i guess if you really want to break the habbit, you will need to apply some conscious self control.

i think spitting to lose weight is just a myth. the amount of water you lose when you spit can be accomplished in other ways such as sweating and/or decreasing the amount of daily water intake. either way, it's dangerous to lose weight via reducing water weight in your body, because (after oxygen) water is one of the most essential requirement of the human body. not having enough in your system can cause some serious health problems. of course you most likely will not dehydrate yourself by constantly spitting, but just the general idea of losing water weight to reduce your body weight is a bad idea.

i think it's the most gross when someone snorts in his nasal mucus, then spits it out of his mouth.

 

I was once talking with a kid who I grew up with and he was with his crew, was there for 5 minutes and each of them spit like 100 times each, when we walked away there was a little wet spot in the middle of the circle where we were...it was nasty. I then went back to my friends and pointed it out, we were hysterical...

As for me, only when my throat gets clogged (sick or allergies) and I am not in the presence of others...

 

all depends who i am out with. if one of my friends was to spit, then im sure i will follow. its like yawning. except i dont like girls that spit.

furthermore, i like girls who swallow...
