It said the thing gains 30HPs (at the top end for a very limited time), but it's still 30HPs, and I was wondering if it'll work...

No one tried anything on TL-S yet.
However, you can expect a better participations by mod shops for TL-S. There will be a lot more TL-S than CL-S.
