Default Do you visit a dentist?

What a hectic life I must lead (or at least I *tell* myself I lead). It dawned on me recently, as I had a rash of employees request PTO here-n-there for dental visits, that its been 7 years...easily...since my last visit to the dentist.

I brush daily, but don't floss. Teeth *look* good. Gums *look* good. But I'm curious, do our members visit the dentist once or twice a year for cleanings???

With members ranging in age from 16 to AARP'ers...seems a good question to get feedback.

Sooooo...???

I go twice a year for cleaning and exams. You should start now as a preventative maintenence. You may have problems down the road.

Only take care of the ones you want to keep! Once a year, baby! (I'd go more often for cleanings, but I have a friend who is a dental hygienist and does it at my house for free )

I go to the dentist twice a year. Every time I go, I make an appointement for the next time.

Definitely easier to maintain your teeth than to have major work done on them.

Go see that dentist. You'll be better off in the long run. And if you do need work done -- ask him if he uses nitrous. It helps. A lot!

Not for 6 years at least.
I only go when I absolutely have to.

I try to go, when I have insurance that is. had a gf that was a dentist and heck, I still can't stand em! it has been a while since I've been to one though, maybe a year.

but you should floss regularly - or else, plaque will eat away at your gums and you'll have gum disease and your teeth will fall out. also it helps your teeth look cleaner. I think that's the reason why most people don't - there's no immediate satisfaction that anything was done.
