I'm just wondering what your education is and how you got your foot in the door. Please share!

 

Majored in finance and economics and I work for a TV network doing accounting and finance. I just applied for the job and got it.

My GF majored in communications/advertising and works for a publisher doing finance.

Bottom line, just apply. If you want to do "on air", I would suggest a communications major. Our former admin. Assistant is now an local on air reporter. I;m not sure what her background was, but she was interested and motivated and moved up.
