when you apply for american citizen ship.
they make you renounce your former citizenship of the country which u first belong to

I still only have my Irish one, but my sister's kids have US, Canadian, and Irish passports, as they were born in Texas, and my brother-in-law is Canadian.

yes and no. a good number of american citizens have multiple nationality, so it's apparent it's not enforced and tolerated. it's even reported all the time by the media.

foreigners who apply for u.s citizen must renounce their old citizenship from which they came from. call your local ins for more info

^^^^ That may be, but I know Ireland doesn't give a damn what the US makes you do. You can easily get an Irish passport again.

I have two Passports. One in each car. I used to have a Valentine but I like my Passport better

For what it's worth, just to be a prat -- you don't actually "own" your passport. It is the property of the country that issues it and as such can be revoked at any time.

I was born in the States, raised in Peru. Mom is peruvian, father Italian.

That's how I managed to get the three passports.
