I don't know what pictures you are referring to but I can tell you this: Different asian groups have settled in different locations of the US. Maybe that is the difference you are seeing. It would be hard to say what it is if you can't tell a Laotian apart from a Chinese or from a Malasyan Chinese , Singaporean, HongKong.etc.

I am hispanic and everyone thinks I am Mexican. Easy mistake to make here in NC where about 90% of the hispanic population is Mexican. In Miami they'll think I am Cuban.... and so forth.

P.S. Malasyan Chinese are the best! (I should know, I married one- two degrees, an MBA and hot as hell!!)

 

Well, that's it - telling their ethnicity (in terms of Chinese/Korean/Japanese) is the easy part. I have a harder time telling southeast Asian apart, even if they claim to be Chinese the geographical influence on them is enough to fool me.

Anyway, I'm not posting this out of disrespect for girls. I'm simply saying I see a subtle difference between east/west coast girls, and was wondering if anyone can put it into words. Things some of you mentioned are more like personal traits that can't really be read from pictures. I couldn't tell if the girl went to some local community college or Harvard.

 

Well, I live on the west coast (SF Bay Area) and I have to say the east coast asian girls are prettier. It's not really a difference in the figure, but more the face. Over here, there are *so* many asian girls, and most of them are in pretty good shape. But it's only maybe 1 or 2 out of 100 that has the nice eyes, the nice skin, that pouty look that I like

On the east coast, the percentage that I would consider pretty is much, much higher.

But maybe that is just a Bay Area thing. Perhaps SoCal is different. I have lived on both coasts, in 5 different places, and I would say in general the Bay Area is the worst in this regard, for all ethnicities. Just going thru airports in different cities I notice a profound difference.

I don't know what it is, that there are fewer females here to begin with, origin, or maybe all that mercury in the water? Of course this is just my general observation and there are exceptions. Most of which drive around in New Beetle Convertibles I have noticed lately

I think the Asian American girls from socal and norcal are different in magnitude of east and west coast...

The only real difference I see is that socal girls keep their bodies in shape, whereas everywhere else, like midwest, dirty south, east, northwest, don't put such an emphasis on their bodies, probably because they're always all covered up.

girls in the dirty south don't cover up.. .it's too warm to do that... have you ever seen an asian girl from say.. georgia... they are HOT!!!.. especially when they speak chinese with a southern accent!!!

 

now THAT is something i gotta see!
