I don't care how hot she is or how nice she is... when I see someone smoking, to my very opinionated self-righteous mind, it is a BIG sign of weakness... I wouldn't even consider dating someone who smoked.

i'm glad i experienced smoking back when i was younger. people that had never smoked would always say, it doesn't do anything. but in reality it does. either way it was good for the time being, but i'm glad my lungs finally told me to stop i was smoking more in a social setting anyways, something to pass the time between classes at college or out partying, but other than that i hardly ever smoked.

what did it do for you?

it seems like the people who were able to quit dont regret it, and vice versa, which makes sense.

Being addicted to anything sucks. But smoking a cigarette after you're drunk off your face is freakin' awesome beyond belief.

I dont smoke and dont ever plan to smoke, but I feel kinda used at work ( as a cook), that all the smokers get like 3 5min breaks everyday, and i dont get anything pretty much the whole day lol. Oh well

my time with cigarettes was more of a habit than anything. after class, chain smoking while partying, in the car on a nice day, bored at work....shit like that.....i had to stop b/c i could hardly breathe when i woke up in the morning

i'll say it was semi-dumb for me to start in the first place, but i'm glad i experienced it, and won't be one of those people that down it but have never done it themselves and don't know that it really does have an effect when you are.

[QUOTE=Hootsama,Jun 29 2007, 11:03 AM] Sorry, man, didn't mean to ruffle any feathers, but "pretty soon you need one..." sounds like a sweeping generalization to me.

I don't smoke, or eat big macs... it's funny someone tried to justify it that way though. =)
