I got one of those when I was selling my xbox. We exchanged emails for about a week....I made all kinds of funny offers like I was willing to deliver it in person dressed up as santa (since the xbox was for his kid).

hahaha!

just because a bank accepts a money order does not make it genuine. It takes a couple weeks for them to truly clear.

I believe the bank has 14 days to notify you of the money order being fake. After that (if they don't notify you), the money they credited to your account is YOURS, even if they do later find out that it's fake.

Most will discover this sooner than 14 days, though, so don't try it.
