It's supposed to give the "illusion" that you have more daylight during your waking hours but if you're boozing and partying all night an don't get up till noon, I guess it would be a PITA for ya.

Read all about it here:

http://webexhibits.org/daylightsaving/

Also, there are dozens of countries besides the US that use it.

Yes, because the sun rising before 6am can be annoying. In june here you'd have the sun rising around 430am if you didn't spring ahead!

After Every Daylight savings time change I walk around for 2 or 3 weeks, never knowing what time it is, changing my sleep habits, and other nusiances.
It just doesn't do my body good.

Might Be easier without changing the clocks twice a year, but then I woudn't have to wonder what time it is now.

Does switching time twice a year make sense?
Makes more sense than switching time 3 times a year!

The history read was nice.

Damn shame I recently purchased 3 wristwatches! Now I got some advancing to do. And the cell phone, and the car, and the 2 alarms that never wake me up in the morning, and the TV, and the stove, and the 4 wall clocks, and the, and the, and the...

But all grumbling aside, I luv the extra daylight!!!

I think it's a PITA. I thought we had a few years in the late 70s when we didn't change for some reason. Surprisingly, I thought it was because THAT was the Energy Crisis?

I wish it would just stay the same.

I hate it. It messes up my sleep patterns for a while adjusting to it.
