mine is about 13lbs.....she was about 15lbs so we had to slow down on the treats

Another relative of the shih tzu is the Tibetean Terrior, mine runs about 23 lbs.

yes, and if you buy your puppy from a reputable breeder who breeds selectively, attends confirmation shows, and performs health testing, you will absolutely get what the breed standard calls for.

If you buy your puppy from a pet store, a newspaper ad, or some other questionable source, you're throwing the dice as to what exactly you will end up with.
