Default don't you hate actually having to work sometimes?

I am so used to being a slacker.... today I had to leave at 11:40 just to get my semi normal long lunch in to get back here for a 1:00pm appointment.... and I worked most of the morning.

I am used to pissing around on these forums and working out for about an hour at lunch (instead of my quick 30 minute deal today).

Glad I have a 95% slacker job. Too bad it is totally unrewarding.

If you are that bored, take on a side job to pull in some extra cash. I am a software developer and I work for a major defense contractor (full-time). I get daily emails from other companies (monster.com) from people looking for contractual developers. I pick up side jobs here and there to make some extra cash. I'm 25 and some of these gigs pay 100-120 an hour, not bad and a way to fill up time.

I have been working like a dog recently. But the nature of my very seasonal job is that I work hard for about a four to six month period every year, and the rest of the year is pretty much nothing.

During the heavy schedule I am not allowed to take a day off for the whole say, six month period. During the other half of the year, I have to use six weeks plus of vacation. I generally take fridays off paid June-December. That time of the year is stress free but the six months without a day off can get to you after a while.

Sometimes u say???? Try all the time. When I get to work, I open up company Email and then s2ki.com and it stays open all day. Gives me an escape out of the office without leaving... lol. Or I'll make many visits to the company kitchen, which is open to eat anything for only $5 a week!!!!... love it.

Well, I don't think anyone here would work if they didn't HAVE to. I sure wouldn't. The only problem is, car and rent payments don't make themselves, so until I win the lotto, here I sit. Thankfully, I have access to S2ki, so I can at least space out for a little bit each day.
