josh3io, I'm sorry for your loss. Who was Douglas Adams?

Thanks, I had heard of the work, but not the author. May he rest in peace.

josh3io - sorry about that, I had noticed the references to the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy in your signature line.

I too am very upset that he died at such a young age. His books (the 5 books of the Hitchhikers trilogy [sic], The Meaning of Liff, and the Dirk Gently series [I'll leave out Starship Titanic]) were a major part of my growing up and I was looking forward to the release of another title.

Oh no ... what a loss!!!

My favourite quote: (excuse me if it's slightly out)
"The big yellow thing was hanging in the air just like bricks don't."

May he rest in peace.

Douglas Adams is the man that brought us the answer to life, the universe and everything. Enlightened us to the true purpose of the Earth and its creators, and let us know what the dolphins have been saying to us this whole time. His life's work, the real Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, is continued by the BBC at http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/
