Well does everythink? i'm all for bringing the age down to 18 like any normal country has. There really is not a good reason not to have it 18, not a compelling one at least.

I think it sould be repealed altogether. That's another stupid law I can't understand, just like alcohol limits in beer.

I wouldn't have any problem with lowering the legal age, but before they do that they need to stiffen DUI laws. If it was my way after your first DUI you would loose your license for 6 months, after your second 1 year and after your third you would loose it PERMANENTLY! I don't care what kind of hardship it will impose on you. Get a ing buss pass. Driving is a privelage, not a right. Just my .02.

uhh I would not trust the kids here to lower the age and start buying alcohol. Shit I would have gonna crazy and became and alcoholic if it was lowered People in other coutnrys have a culture of drinking wiht their family and not getting ed up or going to parties etc theres a reason why it is 21 in America....Kids are still drinking if not 21 but belive me it wont ever happen. To many thing would go wrong and liabilities and drinking and driving, belive me no politician would ever risk this. It aint gonna happen ever sorry guys.

I agree wholeheartedly about the DUI laws, and I think it could be done with minimal impact if done properly (obviously you can't just drop it overnight), but I don't think it ever will. That still doesn't make the law right.

If you're old enough to go to war and fight and die for your country you're old enough to drink.

When I was 18 and living in Florida the legal age was 18. I think many states tried 18 or 19 and they were slowly raised back up. I am very against drinking and driving and in fact no longer drink myself. I would not personally vote for the age to be lowered but I firmly believe that anyone in the military no matter their age should be allowed to buy booze.

Maybe in the state you live in.

I was in Atlanta over the summer and could never live there on a permanent basis. They limit their beers to 6% alc/vol or less and I couldn't find anything quality.

Life's too short to drink bad beer.

Jesus once spoke to me in a dream: "Alcohol is the root of all evil."

Mmm...I wouldn't mind having a fruity alky drink right now, like a Pina Colada, to go with this steak. :drooling: I know this Asian restaurant that makes an awesome Pina Colada, but those bastards charge 9 bucks for it.
