upon further review the vehicle did in fact break the plane of the trees therefore resulting in good field goal.

Your friend should've had a Designated Driver. I'm highly against drinking and driving. I always end up being the designated driver but it doesnt bother me. As long as I can have 1 beer and relax for 3 hrs then I'm fine with it. If you cant get a designated driver then get a taxi. At least your friend is alright.

I'm glad that your friend is alive to see what an idiot he was.

Back when I was in high school, every year we would be shown drunk driving videos and it ALWAYS included people that went to my high school that died. They either died from being the driver or the passenger.

WHY do people feel the need to drive a car or get into a car while being drunk??

He had a DD, and the driver had his keys. Problem was, he had a spare nobody knew about and when some chick pissed him off at the bar he took off. Stupid decision...

Keep playing against the odds... you'll eventually pay the piper and the cost may be greater than you can cope with. Just go ask this guy. I'm glad he's ok but beyond that he got what he was asking for so so be it.
