Nope, haven't seen one yet. There is a brand new Z8 parked by all the M5 guys now, though. I thought the semiconductor business was in a downturn right now but I guess some people are still doing ok.

actuall there will be two new bugatti engines in that car. The "low performance" one is aroud 650Hp or something, but the high power one is a 16 cylindar 7 liter 960HP engine with over 900 lb/ft of torque. It was just in the new car and driver...i think it was car and driver. That puts it at over 120HP/liter...137HP/liter actually...in a 7 liter engine....holy crap. Audi made the engine actually...nice work!

turbocharged engines do not beat out the s2000 in regards to horespower per liter competitions - they are in a different category. there was a koenig Ferrari built years ago that had 176 horses per liter, but not a production car.

I thought this Bugatti had 1001hp? or...is that something else?

But yes, I love the lines of the Bugattis and believe it or not, their lines influence a lot of car designers all over the world. And the great thing about a Bugatti - something I heard when the EB110 and EB110SS came out - you can't just go in there and buy a Bugatti. You have to apply pretty much to purchase one, you must LOVE Bugattis and know about them, and as Ettore Bugatti once said, I build cars for people who love to work on cars. =D

other ettore bugatti comments;[circa 1930]
[responding to critism of his cars braking ability..excellent for the time]"my cars are made to go,not to stop."
[upon hearing a complaint of a poorly starting bug].."if he can afford a bugatti,he can afford a heated garage."
[upon meeting a customer who had brought a newly purchased car back to the factory for adjustments} " is this your car? yes?..well don't let it happen again!"
and of course his backhanded praise for the bentleys[that had just won lemans] "messr bentley builds the worlds fastest lorries!"[trucks on this side of the pond]

no apologies necessary for the molsheim built cars..1910 thru 1939....

I was pretty sure it is not turbocharged, but I could be wrong. The article i read said nothing about it being turbo charged..just 7 liters and over 940 HP.

The info I found didn't say anything about this one being turbo'd. The EB110S, however, had a quad-turbocharged engine from what I could find.
