Default Duke Nukem 3D

any fans of the game out there?

there's this program called eduke32 which runs as an emulator for the old dos systems and actually improves the original game's graphics and soundfx. higher resolutions, 3d models in place of sprites, better mouse controls.... makes the game almost as good as the new fps's out there (and the humor still makes it more fun than anything current).

there's a good torrent on the pirate bay if anyone's interested in checking it out.

Nothing like being exposed to a video game character ripping off a boss's neck and taking a shit down his throat at the age of 8. Ahh, the good ole' days of video games.

actually, I already *paid* for it, and still have the original dos cd to prove it. thats why I don't care about downloading it.

however, the source code and level build engine were released as freeware under the GPL back in 2003.
