Default DVD burning software BESIDES Nero?

I have Nero's OEM version, and for some damn reason when I try to backup a large file (like my TiVo recording), it burns all the way through but some reason it only reads 95megs of it. I'm sick and tired of throwing away my DVD blanks. Any recommendation on other DVD burning software that I can use to archive my files?

Roxio EZ CD Creator is my favorite by far. I unsintall anything else that comes on new computers and put EZ CD on.

If the file is larger than 2GB make sure you use a UDF filesystem and not ISO.

I used Roxio and Nero before.. and prefer COPY2DVD as far as picture quality/features etc..

Never had a prob...

Use DVDshrink to encode, COPY2DVD to burn.. sure its a 2 step process, but quality is noticeably better IMO.

I have the full version of Nero and I've never had any repeating problems.
you can try Alcohol 120%

i usually "back up" my dvds with dvd shrink w/DVD43 in the background if that doesnt work then dvd decrpter>shrink>Nero
