okay, i normally use dvd x copy to rip/compress dvds, which on average takes around 22 minutes. ever since yesterday, where i encountered a dvd that kept giving me errors, it now takes over 1 hour to rip/compress dvds. what can be going wrong with my system to cause such a huge increase in ripping/compression time?? in fact, the whole system seems to be bogged down whenever i run dvd x copy now, whereas in the past i can run dvd x copy and multitask such as surfing the web simultaneously without any really noticeable lag...
