E-cigarettes
I've been researching a lot about electronic cigarettes lately, but can't make up my mind about which brand I should try. I'm looking for it to be cost effective (as opposed to real cigs), ease-of-use (don't need to charge it or refill everyday), and if it's a suitable replacement. The fact that the vapor is odorless is a big plus for me. Even though I smoke, I generally don't care for the smell of cigarettes and the smell it leaves on your clothes.
There are several brands that I'm leaning toward right now: Blu, White Cloud, and V2. There seems to be a lot of poor reviews about Blu. There's not a lot of reviews on White Cloud, but they're all good, and it's damn expensive to just try out at $250. V2 seems to have a lot of obvious advertisement reviews, so I don't know what to think of it. I'm hoping my fellow s2kiers will be able to give some honest reviews about any brand you'd recommend or stay away from. Thanks!

I quit completely using them....I had a cheap one for a while then it stopped working unexpectedly and then I decided I dont need anything anymore. i did it for a about 3 months.
Vaping is great, IMHO there are some serious pro models out there. The ones you listed seem just fine...i wish i would have went with one of those name brand ones, but now I am nic free and gaining weight...LOL oh boy, yay!!!
Here is what i experienced during my vaping career:
--throat hits are the key if you want to simulate smoking for real...learn how to achieve it effectively with any e-cig you decide on getting (there are different techniques depending on the type of cig you get...some are manual, some are automatic etc)
--e-cigs have been the best stop smoking aid I have ever come across. I have tried everything and these things fulfill all of the physical and psychological triggers associated with smoking.
if you have an oral fixation = check
have to draw on something during the experience = check
Have to see or expel smoke = check
have to see the tip glow = check
nicotine hit = check
throat hit = check
it does everything for every type of cig addiction
Plus you can do it anywhere...you may get funny looks in some places but it should be perfectly legal to do it anywhere
--I did run into to some heavy chest feelings when vaping instead of smoking...you dont want to "chain" vape like you would smoking (if you are out clubbing or at a bar or anywhere you would chain smoke)...it is water vapor and could present a problem for your lungs if you inundate them with what is essentially water..
--all of the quality products require "juice" to refill the cartridges...get the good stuff and don't skimp on Chinese BS. if you need want the nicotine, you have to get juice that contains it...read up on this stuff and make your own educated choices on products and accessories....
Search vaping to get a bead on the culture surrounding it...there are entire forums dedicated to it.

Do you know of a reputable forum? Most of the websites I've found were advertisements in disguise, so I don't know what to believe.
I really like that Blu has a cig box shaped carrying case that acts as a charger, but so many reviews say it sucks. Most of the other e-cigs cost ~$150, so I'd like to hear some honest opinions before buying something that could potentially end up in the trash can.

did not spend enough time in the culture to get too involved....learned most of what I told you after I bought a cheap one through a knee-jerk reaction.
if I had it to do over again, I would have taken all my advice above beforehand and read up on some stuff...talked to a few more people etc
