I was hoping it was caused by the fans at the Tank because the Sharks had just scored and won. Unfortunately neither was true

I'll never forget the TV screen going black during the 1989 World Series between the Giants and A's when that big quake hit.
We'd just returned from visiting the Bay Area the day before.
I went to college in SF and recall enduring a couple small quakes -- it's no fun. There's nowhere to hide and it's particularly scary if you're in a tall building.

Trust me, you don't want more excitement. LOL I used to live in the Bay Area when I was a kid and its NOT fun having your wall unit topple right down in front of you!

I'm glad everyone's ok.

Hope everything is alright, and there aren't too many damaged S2000s from bottles of Zaino falling off the garage shelf
Seems like the effects weren't all that terrible.
Be safe

I thought it was fun being the first quake iv ever really felt. Gilroy where the center was is only about 30 miles from my house. There were tons of after shocks and I did not feel one of em. Hmm.

It was kind of fun, but not a very big quake at all. When it first started it felt like it was going to get pretty big but the intensity was the same throughout the duration. It did last longer than most though.
