Default ebay question

So ebay said I can take 10% off my next purchase. I am thinking of buying some bike parts from a vendor.
the thing is the item is already pretty low price and I'm sure the profit margin isn't large so I would feel bad if the 10% discount takes away from his living.
Would anyone know who takes the hit if I apply the 10% discount? It seems doubtful that Ebay would reimburse him for that 10%. I'm hopeful of of the people here are ebay seller and provide some knowledge.
thanks.

I honestly have no idea but I would have to assume that ebay takes that 10% hit

OK... I'd hate to screw over a small time seller on ebay trying to make a living.
I'd rather save 10% but I can afford the item. If a multibillion corp takes the 10% hit, then I'd rather save the money.
Thanks.
