What kind of track was that??????? No wonder the s2000 was beaten by the Boxster S on that track when they were reviewed, the last straight was a top speed race, basically the guy who has the car with the highest top speed is going to win. All that handling and braking advantage was wiped out by sheer accelleration. That track proves nothing.

Nice video though, thanks.

It may not prove anything but it sure looks like fun.
I kept hoping to see them get passed by a yellow 911 on the brink of control, such as the one you can find here: http://www.s2000online.com/forums/showthre...p?threadid=9001

btw, was that a minivan they passed about 1/2 way through?

Awesome video!

A couple of friends just got back from running The 'Ring. It's a truly amazing track and they are almost incapable of describing how awesome it is in person. Oh wait, that may be because they were drunk....

Kick ASS video...I was glued to the monitor and will save that one for later!

While I was on the edge of my seat watching this kick ass video, I remembered that Giampero was gonna bring his elise to S2K Days. What happend? I was looking forward to that... I have never seen one up close.
I'll admit, I really do not know that much about the elise, but definitley interested-- anyone have some good links?

Yes it does look like a lot of fun. However that long straight makes lap times from that track not very consistent with other tracks. The straight would negate any braking and handling advantage that any car would have over the rest of the track as we saw in the video. Basically the car with the highest top end would win or at least make up a lot of ground on that straight.

Anyways, i think i rambled on enough time to put it to rest and me too.

Later boyyyyyyzzzzzzzzz.
