Well, for those of you who know what it is I'm a listener. Was wondering if anyone else here listens to it or some similar genre? In general though, emo kids don't have nice cars so I'm not sure =)

yea, a bunch of my friends are into Emo...and you're right, they don't drive nice cars, hehe.

 

Ok, let us into a secret - what is emo? and who are some of the artists?

 

I never heard of it until today, but after a google search I found out that emo is punk that somehow got even more angry

not really about anger.

 

a type of music. it's been around for years. real "emo" started with bands like fugazi, moss icon, etc. it started almost as a sub-genre of hardcore.
emo is short for emotional.

nowadays it's just a bunch of sissies whining about girls and playing in pseudo pop punkesque bands.

 

is it true radiohead started this movement? cause if it is they suck.
