Energy drinks
I often work overnight and go 20+ hours without sleep so energy drinks like Red Bull are often my best friend. I always wondered how and if they really work.
I never really notice a difference in my energy level when i take one but maybe if i didnt have one i wouldnt be able to stand straight
And things like 5 Hour Energy, ive taken that a couple times and from the sound of it that should give you a lot more oomph than a Red Bull but to me there is no noticeable difference

With caffeine, as with most stimulants, you develop a tolerance over time. You won't notice as much of a kick after a while. I'm a red bull addict too ever since we sold at the motorcycle dealership I worked at.
Its pretty much like Coffee... your body grown dependant upon it, and will not function well without it. Your body also builds up a tolerance to it, so you will need more and more of it to see an effect... One day I took a step back and was wondering why I always felt tired... I was drinking 3-4 energy drinks a day (the big ones, not the small ones) And realized that that was probably the reason why I was tired... Just like coffee drinkers need coffee to wake up in the morning and periodically to function, the same thing happened to me...
I decided that I was just gonna stop drinking them,.. I looked as it as a habit which was as expensive as smoking (4 drinks a day at 2.50 = $10 a day, $300 a month... just on stupid energy drinks) ...At first, I had headaches and was SUPER tired, but now I have much more energy than I did when I was drinking them...

i dont think they effect me at all,...i do know that rockstars will give me a headache after a bit,...redbull, i just like to mix with juice,...monsters just taste good and the monster coffee blends make me go to the restroom for number 2 just like regular coffee.
u have to be careful with these though,..ive known two people who have had to go to the doctor cuz they consumed too many. one did 5 drinks or so in a few hr period and the other just started having irregular heartbeats
i tend to stay away from them for the most part....maybe one or two every two weeks in place of a soda

Mountain Dew Amp is the best energy drink out there. I love that stuff. (Its even better with vodka).
But like everyone else said, you will eventually become immune to the amount of caffeine you are taking in and you will get terrible headaches when you try to get off it. If I were you, I would try to cut down on it.
