My apologies for this thread, I hope it doesn't offend the community. I hope job offerings relevant to the aftermarket will be appreciated, as I've heard many stories from s2000 enthusiasts who are currently out of work.

Position: Web Developer Contractor

Summary: Contractor needed to work onsite in Old Town Pasadena for 8-12 weeks on a SQL database driven web application built using ASP.NET. The application will be used for an import performance aftermarket website. Import car enthusiasts are encouraged to apply. Full-time employment or extended contract opportunity available afterwards in West LA area.

Experience: 2-4 years, strong references a must.

Qualifications:

 

anyone that answers this ad will be ridiculed by me. any self respecting web developer would choose a different platform.

any self respecting businessman would let their developer move them to a better platform.

 

I'm an open source linux/unix guy myself but the project was built using .NET and is 80% complete already.

 

No self respecting web developer would provide those skills for that hourly rate. Unfortunately 'enthusiast' roughly translates to 'work for nothing'.

 

well, combine the rate and .NET crap and you may get a suicidal developer hehe
