That's too bad, he certainly was one of a kind. The famous Ceaser's Palace jump over the fountains is one of those images burned in my memory.

Turned out I ate right behind him in an adjacent booth in Vegas. Maitre d' said he was a regular, nice as hell.

I thought the "Evel" came from his last name.... hence, Evel Knievel...
