Ever Been to Europe? Please Help.
ok, I have many questions to ask...I did research but I'm thinking actual experiences will be more helpful..Planning to go to Europe soon, I def. want to stay in the Amsterdam area but want to keep it low priced...
My question is, how accomodating are the hostels co, are they ghetto?...Is it difficult to jump country to country by train (language, getting lost)....don't know how long I want to stay..guess it depends on how much money I want to spend.
Finally, Is Amsterdam as crazy as everyone says it is....My girlfriend and I just want to go there for a little trip to sample amsterdams finest
and to just chill out and bring back alot of seeds.....
Any thoughts opinions plus places we must see while there would be appreciated...

The hostels in Germany and the Netherlands are fine, nothing to worry about.
The only Country that's a bitch to get into is Switzerland, they're thorough.
Yes Amsterdam is crazy like they say and dangerous too.
If you want to sample some of Europe

I went on two tours through Europe and the hotels quality depend on how much you wanna spend. I went on a tour so the hotels were already chosen and they were pretty fancy. Yeah Amsterdam is pretty kool, but dirty as hell. Amsterdam and Switzerland were my favorite places, London wasn't that bad either. I hated France and Austria. We took buses through all of the countries but train would probably be better and faster. You should definitely check out Amsterdam.
If you can fit all of your stuff in a backpack you will be fine.
btw - scandenavian (sp?) women are probably the hottest on the planet. I personally would not go there with my girlfriend, but good luck.

Train travel is easy and I had no problems catching the correct train. Moving between countries was no problem. I agree with the others about Switzerland---I didn't think I was going to get out! The agents at the airport apparently didn't like my passport photo either.
If you travel by train do yourself a huge favor and leave the big suitcases at home. A small bag or backpack is the way to go.
Have fun and be careful about what you bring back---we got a pretty good search coming back through US Customs.

That being said, I will agree that Dutch women are some of the hottest on the planet. Never seen so many 6' blondes built like that in my life.
And I live in LA!
