Ever Roll A Car?
I prefer to keep the wheels rolling... not the body!
We used to jump a ramp to a set of train tracks. You could easily travel 20' in the air before landing. One night I jumped them, I was wearing seatbelts, but the passengers were not. It was very surreal seeing my buds float up into the ceiling as we hit the apex of the jump. They just complained about the bumps on their heads from hitting the roof.

when i was 7 or so, my family car rolled 3 and 1/ 2 times with my mother, grand mother, great grand mother and me in it.
also, great grand mother's brand new set of 12 kitchen knives were in the cabin, not in the trunk. (the reason... sigh... was a long story.)
being so little, i forgot the most details of that happening but... i remember clearly seeing all those blood marks in the car.

Rolled my TR-7 sometime in the early 80s. (I haven't been good with dates since
) Drifted into a high curb at 75 (drinking). The roll stopped after 2-3 times after I killed a large sign. The passenger door was pushed in to the gearshift but the top of the roof was surprisingly undamaged. The front was bent to the right and the rear was bent to the left. Much damage on both sides. Broke all windows. Almost no harm to the driver.
Totalled? Of course.

Seven years ago on New Year's Eve, my completely psychotic date and I were leaving Cedar Street in Austin going down 1st towards Mopac. It was about 12:30 after the new year and she was yelling and all upset that I didn't want to leave and she did. Well, we were going by the turnoff for the humane shelter and for some completely crazy reason, she reaches over and grabs the steering wheel out of my hands at about 45 mph. We turn to the right instantly in my 90 Integra, hit the curb so hard that the car rolled, from the accounts on-scene, 3 1/2 times. I was knocked unconscious and on life support. I finally awoke about 8 hours later, covered in blood, totally confused and in a great deal of pain. The top of my head was basically removed and only a few more millimeters more would have been most likely a meeting with the grim reaper. I had injuries on all parts of my upper body, my scalp had severe lacerations all over it. The scaphoid bone in my left hand was fractured, as well, but wasn't diagnosed for 9 months, where, after several unsuccessful "alternative" treatments, I had to have an iliac crest bone graft - the removal of bone from my hip to the hand and then screwed together. What a joy that was. I had two surgeries on my hand and it's pretty much OK now, just lost a little freedom of movement, but is generally a little 'achy.'. I'll take that over what could have happened...
Overall, it took me about 2 1/2 years to recover completely from that whole ordeal. I don't remember anything after the point that she grabbed the wheel. It happened so fast, I had no time to react or do anything. Plus what kind of whacko would do that sort of thing. Needles to say, if I saw this person even today, I would inflict severe bodily harm upon her.
She escaped with only minor cuts and bruises.
Just say no to crazy chicks!

Jeez Greg, what a stupid broad. Did you ever see her after the accident? Did she ever apologize?
And then you also crashed your Scarlet, didn't you? Have you ever considered the bus?
Remind me not to ride with you at Thunderhill!
