Default Everyone, Fluffy - Fluffy, Everyone.

It's the middle of the night, you've gotta go. Grab a roll of Charmin, head to the portashitter, and find Fluffy here waiting for you:

From an unnamed company commander:

"This hyena was captured on FOB Q-West this past weekend. I saw this bastard chasing our company bunny rabbit through our motorpool about a week ago -- nobody believed me when I told them that we either had a jackal or a hyena on our FOB -- til now."

Oh man, that thing looks serious. Too short to be a Hyena, my vote is for an Iraquian chupacabra.

Disclaimer: My knowledge of Hyena's is limited to what I've seen in the Lion King.

According to the guy who emailed it to me, it's a Striped Hyena.

"The Striped Hyena (Hyaena hyaena) is an omnivorous mammal of the family hyaenidae. It lives in Africa, the Middle East, Pakistan and western India. It is extinct in Europe, but can occasionally be spotted in Anatolia."

Damn, there's tons of those in the hills by our house. When they start yelping it sounds like hundreds of them.

Nah, not this one. He's a feisty little guy for sure, though.

I've got a video that I won't be able to put up until this evening. More to follow.
