Most every car enthusiast hopes to obtain certain cars in their lifetime, or certain 'types' of car.

What car(s) do you aspire to obtain? How high are some of your dreams? I drool over a McLarenF1, but it is not my dream car because in my case it is too unrealistic. Others will want this, or a fully restored classic, or perhaps a heavily custom modified vehicle.

I am a very simple person. For me, I have always aspired for a Porsche Turbo, and currently, the 996TT isn't letting me forget this dream.

Why? I want a car I can drive everyday that has ass-kicking acceleration and good overall performance. I want a car that is setup for me right to begin with, so I can just enjoy it without tweaking it. Having built and blown and rebuilt many carbureted Toyota motors trying to get things right, I'm just plain tired of fine-tuning. I was never a hardcore tuner to begin with, I just never had the money to buy pre-built speed.

[Edit Edit Nov 25th Addendum]
When/If I get the Porsche, then i'll set my sights on a red Ferrari F40

Mine is and always will be the McLaren F1 (although the Zonda S is really really nice!), cost factors aside, it's like a super S2000. Fun, yet, somewhat practical. Really, two compartments for luggage, luggage, personal mechanic, room for wife and child, or two wives, or men, or man, whichever way you swing. Streetable suspension, custom built kenwood sound system w/ changer.

In fact the only thing I can think of that would not be practical (again, aside from the cost) is going to the drive thru by yourself...or with someone else for that matter...window is too small to fit anything and you're in the middle! Oh and tires of course

A White/Red 1996 Porsche 911 Turbo S, but if I have the money, I will definately take a 1988 Ferrari F-40!!!!

And by the way, Michael Schumacher's Ferrari F1 from last season was up for grabs, not sure on the price though.

Pagani Zonda S.

If it has to be fast on the track, daily commuting and also spacious enough for vacations, groceries etc., it would be the Mitsubishi Evolution VII. 4WD, turbocharged, Active Yaw Control, some magazines say it's the fastest production car to go around corners

NSX or M3. Both are highly coveted and yet attainable.

Yeah but you'd need to rebuild the engine after every few outtings...BTW, I'm curious to see how much Schumi's F1 car sold for.
