the only thing Cold Lake has is an airbase where our American purchased F-18s are.

And man, those flyboys really know how to use them babies. It's just too bad we can't afford to buy them bullets.

I strongly suggest you visit the NorthWest Territories, specifically Yellow Knife.

Cold Lake is what separates you (Americans) from those pesky Russian bombers.

Canada contains millions of square miles of nothingness, notta. Cold Lake is right in there somewhere.

Try Edmonton - they only have the biggest mall in the world (West Edmonton Mall), plus a fair bit of racing (road/track in summer, ice in winter - my Dad does both). Also, try FasTrack in the WEM - pretty fun little karting place. If you can't have a good time in Edmonton, you can't have a good time anywhere.

Also, try going on Jasper Ave. on the weekend nights - lots of sweet cars and bikes out there. My Dad and I used to go out in the NSX on Friday and Saturday nights, just to see the cars and occasionally get a quick race from light to light.

I remember one time we pulled out of a side road, then Dad nailed the throttle (no one around....we thought). We pulled to a stop at a red light and two cops pulled up right beside us in a squad car. The conversation went like this.

Cop: Sir, do you know how fast you were going?

Dad: No...pretty fast, though...

Cop: Sir, you were doing 140 (kph)....this street has a limit of 50. Try and keep it down, 'kay?

Dad: Sure.

Cop: By the way, nice car. Don't make us take it, alright?

Dad: Alright. Thanks.

Pretty cool cop, eh? (there were actually two of them) We saw them the next day on the side of the road and waved at 'em. Haven't met a nice one since.....

I think I know your friends. They have the blue dog sled, don't they? And they live in the igloo with the red awning and deck out back, right? We made popsicles together last summer. Geez, what a small world afterall!
