No does not meet or conform US Highway safety standards. It would also need an US emissions certification. Tough to get!

No that car would not be legal for the common man. I am not even sure that it is legal for that guy to sell the car. Sort of like I am not sure it is legal for Giampiero to sell his elise, since they are not street legal unless you have a 1 year exemption which is usually only granted to visitors.

Bill Riley has a EVO VI for sale...it is registered as a KITCAR... that would be great until the one cop who actually knows something sees you driving it, impounds it and has it destroyed right before your eyes!
