I had a 5-series BMW from them a while back. It was a nice way to brave the roads in central Maine. (Also cost me 900 bucks for four days )

399 a day for a Hummer? hmmm, back in college, I had a roomie that rented a Hummer for 10 days at $150.00 a day. This was when they were just being sold to civilians. Can't remember the milage limitation. We were the first ones to rent that Hummer. Ahh, bright red - it was like driving in a parade everywhere we went. Handled very well. Couldn't flip it, no matter how hard we tried. Of course, we tried, but not that hard. Others in the military can tell you, its pretty difficult, almost impossible to flip those things. Well, it was a lot of fun. You should rent one for a day, but not for 400 bucks.

That looks like a good way to go if you are considering buying one of those cars. You can drive the wheels off it for a set period of time and see whether you really like it...like a super test drive.

Interesting that they charge so much more for the TT, compared to the S or even the BMWs...

My wife was going to rent a 360 for me for Christimas, but apparently thought better of it once she discovered how much it would cost. (Damn!)

I rented a Ferrari 355 Spyder about 6 months ago from a similar outfit in LA. It was about the same cost, but DAMN was it the best $2000 I have ever spent over two days. I dont think I ever went to sleep for the two days I had it. I just kept driving it around...up and down PCH...all around Hollywood....and talk about a panty dropper!!

It's funny. Except for the guy on my block that drives a 355, my first thought when I see someone in a Ferrari is: I bet it's a rental.

I saw two vipers racing up sixth avenue and KNEW they were rentals. (That sounded really cool by the way.) There were so many 360 modenas in the hamptons this summer, they almost outnumbered the boxsters.

I'd take a 550 barchetta pininfarina just to look different.

The guys at exotic rental car say they make most of their money from rap video shoots.

I would look for amybe a different company. I rented a Sebring from Hertz in SF in June for ~$450 for a week. $800 is a bit over the top for a Sebring Conv.
