and slow, clogging up the fast lane. Man it sucks!
Federal money dried up for them during these Bush administrations. Bush made some cut on a bill, years ago, that took some funding away from the cops. I read an article a year or two ago that mentioned police presence had increased (they hired more officers on) and most of them were assigned to traffic duty. They make me irate. While they are hiding in the bushes trying to make a buck off tax paying citizens, that actually help pay their salary through taxes, people's cars are getting broken into, homes getting burglarized, people being kidnapped, and the list goes on. I argued with a cop at the gym one time and my argument was they could do more good by doing patrols 24/7. That cop that is sitting behind a bush with a radar would be better served, serving the public by patrolling neighborhoods, getting to know people but that isn't their job anymore, their job is to make $$$$$$$$$$$. V1 in all bogey mode for me. I don't speed on city streets but I sure do on the highway. Try and catch me suckers
Everyone around my way, on the highway, already drives slow, in many cases slower than the limit. I guess their chickenhead, or chicken brain in this case, is still too programmed to think gas is $4.00 a gallon so they drive 55MPH in a 60. What will these officers do when they can't catch anyone speeding? That is what I'd like to know. Will they try to send officers out to inspect homes to look for ordinance violations, oh wait, they already do that. My guess is roadblocks will come next. So they can check your license, insurance, current tags/inspection, etc.

why would you be in the carpool lane if there is no traffic and your alone?
I know - that's like saying "I got a speeding ticket but I was wearing a blue shirt and driving my sister's car."
Cali has what, an 18B$ gap in budget? That's a lot of tickets...
