Wow, I thought this would be the last place for it to happen. I visit a lot of BB's and this, by far, is the classiest. I never thought it would get to the point of censorship though. I guess it's true that the only constant is change.

Yeah, really what is the deal?

This is "Off-topic." So what if it's a bit randy. What fun is this place if
it's run by a schoolmarm.

"Lighten up Francis."

Well, somebody's gotta put a leash on the dogs ... And no doubt, it's bound to happen sooner or later the way it's going.

Come on guys lighten up a little. Look at it this way... remember back (way back for some) in elementary school when the teach would leave the room. A couple of people would start whispering, then a few others would join in. Soon you couldn't hear your own whisper so you raise your voice a little, soon everybody is talking and it gets louder and louder. Soon there is paper and spit balls flying everywhere and the classroom is a mad house. Then the teacher walks in and and then everybody takes their whippin.

People have trouble policing themselves, the members of this board included. This is not about censorship but about escalation of unwanted content. The owners/moderators are putting a reign on things. If they didn't do this it wouldn't be long before someone is posting naked women (or worse, naked men). And I think we all agree that this forum is not the place for that kind of subject matter, Off-Topic or not.

I feel its more of keeping things in line. I wouldn't want it to become like some of the other boards. I prefer it kept mature and on a respectable level. Those of you who have been here for over the past year, and even before that, know about the community that started this entire board which later became a family. Some parts of that still exist today. But if you are constantly exposed to threads, of any demeaning nature, that is what you will think, and you'll end up de-maturing into the everyday punk ass kid that is out there. No offense to those that are punk ass kids, I just believe that people are the result of their environment and I commend the current efforts of the moderators keeping this board in check.

This board has a very mature but laid back attitude.
Keeping the fine balance of taste and still being an interesting place to visit is not very easy. Any board with so many members can soon fall into anarchy.
I may not agree with all that has been done recently but I accept the motives are well meant.
The moderators have a tough job, bit like a football referee.

What's that Andy "Stupid and Blind!" Easy boys I'm just kidding! No them rules is rules and they have there place. Krazik is just trying to make a place where everyone is welcome and not offended. Doesn't bother me one way or the other. I make a choice and just don't engage the mouse button. Something we all need to remember before we start complaining. Most people forget that all they have to do is don't look!!

Cheers

Jeff
