Curses are words. Last time I checked, words won't hurt me. And TEACH your god damn kids what to say and what not to say. What the ****!!!

I think the highest court in our land should have better things to weigh in on. And it amazes me that they would even listen to any arguments with the freaking Constitution around.

There is no true freedom of speech. Try saying I have a bomb at an airport and see what happens.

There is no reason why it should be broadcast over TV when young children can be watching.
Better yet would be allowing you to say this in an airport and then watching a gang of police unload their 9mm's into you.

It will be a sad day for the first ammendment if the Supreme Court upholds the decision to restrict speech on TV.

I think that the government is missing the point. Besides basic broadcast channels, all other channels are pay-per-view, though far cheaper than what is typically thought of as pay-per-view. Being that I/everyone is paying for the right to view the material I don't believe that the government has the right to regulate it the same way as the basic channels. I.E. you have $$$$$$ channels that you pay extra for that are self regulated, yet because this other channel is cheaper the government gets a say? At what price does the turn over from self regulation to big brother regulation begin.

Can they say it? Sure. However, in my mind I think it makes them look ignorant and and disrespectful; if that's what they want to portray, go for it.
agreed..I for one dont say the f-word. Do I hear it? Yes everyday especially at school. I was on the bus just yesterday and this kid maybe 13 just started cursing up a storm. The F-Bomb was being dropped everyother word. Does it hurt me? no But I just dont see the point in some of the words. After all there is alot of words in the dictionary that can take place of about anything. I try not to curse that often yes some do slip out like H**l, or D**n, or even S**t. I know hardly no one will agree but i just thought id throw out my .02 cents..

I myself dont consider cursing harmful but try and watch yourself around others kids. You may not care about your own but you could have some respect for others children.
