I dont get facebook all together. Everyones dropping their myspace accounts for facebook but it seems like a downgrade to me.

What exactly makes it 10000000x better? I used it like 4 years ago and it just seems like a bland version of myspace. For all I know its completely changed.

 

It effectively is a bland version of MySpace, as far as I can tell. It's much less intuitive, but I guess it's OK once you get used to it. To me, comparing Facebook & Myspace is kinda like comparing DOS vs Windows. They're both Operating Systems and accomplish the same basic tasks, but Windows is prettier and generally easier to use.

 

Hardly the case.

Myspace is very music focused and the target audience is more the adolescent age group. Facebook is more about groups/organizations and is tailored towards adults.

Myspace has a very cluttered/busy interface. Facebook is cleaner.

Obviously I primarily use Facebook. Myspace just annoys me.
